Marriage of my Classmate

Hi.This weekend I attended the marriage of my classmate. As he was the first one to marry among my batch mates, I wanted to attend his marriage function. If I be more frank, I was curious to see the choice of my friend. This was an arranged cum love marriage.

Marriage location was Faridabad, about 40KM from my house. So we decided to go by a four-wheeler.'We', as I went along with my friend. On our way to the marriage, we talked about marriages. At once, we even discussed our own marriage, when we will get married and how she should look like. But as we entered Haryana our focus shifted on reaching the marriage on time. We were already running late by 1 Hr.

Thanks to the free advice of the bystanders, we managed to reach the marriage location. Though looking at the empty back seat, some wanted lift in return of the service they offered. But we acted mean and eloped before they could land their butt on the back seat. Luckily we managed to reach the location. Lucky because, my friend was getting restless and had we not found the marriage location in next few minutes we might have returned back without seeing our friend in a new role.

As we entered, we met our friend on-stage and gave our gift to him and got our snap with the new couple.Looking at the situation, I sensed that we were a bit late. But I was happy that we have finally reached. We decided to quickly drop something in our stomach. As it a daylight marriage and was a bit hot, I satiated my appetite by few cups of ice-cream. After spending 1/2hr, we decided to leave but not before enquiring the way to go back.

On our way back, our discussion was who will be the next one to get married. As we entered Delhi, we felt at home. And as it is wisely said, all is well when it ends well. At one point we thought going back without even attending the celebration and now we were happy and found the journey to be nice.
